HGT Precision Sequential Gearboxes are produced in manufacturing operations headquartered out of Switzerland, where precision is part of the national DNA. Our industry leading 7075-T651 gearbox cases are machined on 5 Axis CNC equipment from 60kg Billets. 7075 is the strongest alloy known to man and is also used in many aerospace applications. This robust material and our precise manufacturing processes combine to produce extremely strong and rigid gear cases - the platform for long term gearbox reliability.

HGT Precision gears are Diamond Ground for durability, efficiency, low noise and resistence to pitting. Our heat treatment is performed in-house giving us full control ensuring consistency both within a batch, and between batches of components.

These fundamentials drive the quality that you'd naturally expect from an ISO 9001 certified European factory that produces gears and gearboxes for F1 and LMP race cars, as well as some of the most famous performance vehicle marques in the world.

HGT's Patented Vernier Bell Housings ensure that our precision gearboxes can be aligned perfectly to the centreline of the crankshaft during installtion. This eliminates many of the industry commonly experienced Gearbox & Clutch issues like difficult shifting, premature wear and failure, uneven wear, and asymmetrical loading of the gearbox and engine bearings...to name just a few.
